We Are Done Sneaking Around

Hello Everyone...

We have been soaking in all of the information on this forum since late last year. We ended up purchasing our 2015 Flying Cloud 25FB (with the twin beds - thanks moosetags) a few months ago.

So far we have taken our first trip to a local campground for a quick weekend getaway to run through the systems and make sure we knew what we were doing. Turns out there were things we did not know and this was a perfect time to sort them out before a long trip. Much different learning curve than our previous camper...a Coleman popup.

Our second trip was to Fall Creek Falls, TN - a long drive but a fun time! We only saw one other AS on the 600 mile trip down I81 but mid week we had new neighbors pull in with a brand new Classic. We ended up comparing notes and having a wonderful steak dinner with remax gal and her husband. I hope all of the AS owners we meet on the road are as great as they were

We hope to be active on the forums here and we have also created a youtube channel that has information about our AS as well as product and park reviews and other nonsense that we decide to add. Not as slick and produced as others out there but that is part of the plan - plus we have a fun time doing it. Please stop by and say hi.

Talk to you all soon,
Jeff and Jennifer

Welcome from KY

Hi and welcome to the forum. Sounds like you're getting into the swing of things. Good to have you here and on the road. We went down to Florida in January for a month. The state park we were in had a bunch of Airstreams in it and lots of people stopped to ask us if there was an AS convention.

We have found a lot of friendly people, here, on the road and in the parks. We found a mostly AS park near Dade City, FL. That was a very interesting tour. I've never seen so many AS motor homes and most in excellent shape.

We're finishing our second year of retirement, sending our son off to Japan for a year of International studies. Nothing holding us here after he leaves in September. Looking forward to circling the country for several months.

I would love to circle the country for several months and hope you have a great time doing it. We both are still full time employed and retirement is still years away - both of us are turning 48 this year. We definitely have that on our bucket list though.

Welcome abroad!

We travel extensively and find by far the majority if airstream people are wonderful. So enjoy your trailer and enjoy the community.

By the way, do you have a link to your YouTube channel?

Thanks
Doug

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

Welcome to the Forums, and congratulations on your new baby. A few more outings and you will be old hands at this. As I like to say, there is a learning curve, but it's not launching rockets. Take your time, stay on the Forums, and all things will become clear.

Enjoy the ride and may you have many great Airstream Adventures.

Brian
