Wanted: Roof vents and parts for 1966 Airstream

Hi,
I am new to Airstream and just bought a 1966 Sovereign. I heard I might find the original metal roof vents (14 x 14) and the astrodome from folks who are changing their vents to the newer ones.
I am also looking for a trunk cover for the back of the trailer and another smaller panel cover that gives exterior access to the back of the refrigerator.
If I am lucky, someone out there might be dismantling a similar trailer.
Thank you,
Cris

Hi and welcome to the forums. If you post your "wants" in the free classifieds here on the airforums you might also find folks wanting to make a deal! I would also look at ebay and search out vintage trailer restorers (there are some out there...) and email them and ask if they have what you are looking for. I have found parts that way.

Good luck!

Hi, good timing! I just removed one of my 14 x 14 original vents from my 1965 Overlander yesterday (replaced it with a FanTastic Fan), and was wondering what to do with it. I'm going to remove the second one today. The first one looks original, the second one has had the cover replaced somewhere along the way. Both units are in pretty rough shape though. Send me an email, and I'll forward you some pictures, so you can have a look.

We have the covers, gaskets, and operators for the 66 trailers.

We also have the compartment doors.
