Wannabe 'Streamer.....

Eh! to all the Airstream / Argosy crowd !! I presently have our 1984 28' Prowler for sale and would love to find a 20'-24' Airstream or Argosy. There is one for sale just down the road ('77 28' Argosy...$5000 CDN), but it's in rough shape. There are few used 'Streamers listed locally, so that's why I'm here !! I have a 2003 F-150 equiped with the 4.6l V8. It towed the Prowler without a problem. My wife and 9 year old son want to do some local traveling here in Canada, and then head south for a couple of longer trips after that.Any info to help me make the right choice would be welcome. Happy trails to all......

Welcome!

Check the Classifieds right here to find your ideal Airstream. Getting it into Canada doesn't seem to be that big of a hassle... several people have done posts about that. Just use the search function. Also look for the thread of "the flight of the ladybug" - They're quite experienced rehabbers and are located in Canada near Michigan.

Good luck in your search.

Paula

Hey! Right back at ya, eh? As a refugee from the CDN taxman I married south in 1983. I'm a new Airstream guy and for the past couple of year have worked from an AS motorhome.
The choice is clear, Airstream is an icon. Take your time to kiss plenty of frogs. Each time you'll learn more. Don't be in a hurry. Read here, read some more. You'll figure out what makes the most sense when it happens.
And if you get as far south as SC give me a call.
