Hello! My husband and I are so excited to not only own our first AS but to join this community! We're currently in Austin, TX and bought our 1964 Overlander from PA. We still have to haul her to TX and find a place to restore it, but look at this not-so-shiny beauty! Can't wait to learn from all of your expertise and get to know the community. Wish us luck!
Welcome to the neighborhood. Looks to be in great shape and original exterior parts. We have made a couple of cross country retrievals. Lots of fun. Take it nice and easy. Have a safe trip.
Welcome from one newby to the next. I have owned my '67 Caravel for almost a year but still have not camped in it due to the ongoing restoration/renovation.
Can't wait to see interior photos of your coach. Good luck with the renovation.
Great find! Your lifetime adventure begins. Another great find are the friends you haven't met yet in the club! Some of them have rigs very much like yours, who can offer great tips and advice! Check out the Airstream Owners Club at www.wbcci.org for all the opportunities and friends in Texas. 5809 says Howdy, and will be looking for you on the road.

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome and helpful tips, links, podcasts, etc.! As soon as we have more photos to share we will post an update. All of the photos here are so inspiring! She's in pretty good condition inside and out, only one PO and last registered in 2013. So, here's hoping we only have to dedicate half of our lives to renovation.
