Vintage FT Family of 6

We bought a 1967 Overlander in June and have been basically full time since July. Although no one can believe that we fit in a 26 ft Airstream, we are quite comfortable and still have everything we want with us. We're enjoying this new adventure and learning as we go!

Welcome to the Airstream community and the forums.

As I write this, my wife and I are having our coffee and reading quietly in our 25' with the sun slowly rising over the Atlantic Ocean about 50' outside our door. We are in the Florida Keys for a few nights before heading back north to home. On our floor is a mat that reads "Adventure inspired by Airstream". When I consider that you are in a 26' with 4 kids everyday I think I should ship my mat to you since you capture the Airstream=Adventure spirit way better!

You'll find some other full time families here (none I am aware of w/ 4 kids in a 26') as well as lots of info and advice.

Thanks!! We are parked overlooking a bay by the Pacific, with million dollar views out every window. Right now our backyard is a beach, so I am feeling grateful.

My three year old thinks everyone who has a house must be selling it to live in an Airstream too! My kids have totally caught the spirit and we love our outdoor lifestyle. We move a lot with my husband's job, so now wherever we go, we're always home!

Live the life you want. Your kids will have lifetime memories, what a gift you are giving to them.
