VIN varification...

Hello!

I'm new to the forum and in need of your assistance in deciphering a A/S VIN code – 1STABAR23BJ500337

From one of the earlier posts on this forum, I’ve been able to breakdown most of the numbering schema, as follows:

1ST = A/S Travel Trailer;

A = Centre Bath with Rear Twins;

BAR = ???;

2 = double axles;

3 = Check Code;

B = Model Year (B=1981);

J = Build Location (Jackson Centre, Ohio); and

500337 = Serial Number.

I cannot find any information on digits 5, 6 and 7. Hopefully, someone out there can give me some further insight.

Thanks for your time.

VIN assistance...

Thanks Andy and Richard.

I appreciate the help in better understanding the coding that A/S used over the years.

Thanks again,
Chris
