Hello. I'm just joining and beginning to appreciate my 87 Airstream 31'. My main motivation for purchasing it was the preceived ability it has at handling a large snow load. I'm hoping to leave it at my camp at 8,000 ft over winter. But since staying in it, and getting to know it, I'm appreciating what a 'Porsche' it is in the trailer world.

Hi flyboyutah, welcome! I lived in Layton the first 2 1/2 years of my life (born at Hill AFB hospital).

Will you be camping in your Airstream over the winter? There is a lot of info here on winter living that might be of use to you.
