Time for an introduction

Well we've been on the forum for a couple of months now and learned a lot about trailers, tow vehicles, and hitches. In the last two weeks however it all came together. We got a good deal on a tow vehicle and found a lightly used 2016 27' FC FB within a two hour drive our home. So I think its finally time for an introduction. We are Frank and Fran from Columbia Missouri. We've done a lot of traveling and and previously used a 18" fiberglass trailer but decided we needed to step it up with retirement approaching and even bigger plans ahead. We found our new trailer from someone who bought it new and used it for the winter in Florida, but some family circumstance caused them to alter there future travel plans and they had to sell it. So we got a virtually new trailer from close by, with no waiting, for a good price and I hope we helped them out too. Also just bought a new F150 crew cab with short bed and with careful shopping found one with 1800 lbs payload. I hated giving up my Toyota but we decided we wanted more payload and better gas mileage and so far the performance of the ecoboost engine impressive. Will be looking for advise from the forum soon for some modifications we are planning and on our first trip in a few weeks. Picture below!

That's is a nice truck/trailer combo!
I'm envious of your truck's payload capacity
