We live in Houston and wanted a 2015 FC27FB twin for a planned trip in August. The Houston dealer couldn't give us confidence that they could get us one in time and the dealer in Buda wanted too much for a 2016 on order.

Foley in MS had exactly what wanted on the lot, 19% discount, and I picked it up two weeks ago. My only possible concern is warranty work, I guess I will find out at some point.

It's our understanding we can get Airstream warranty work done at any authorized dealer, as Airstream pays the dealer for parts and labor when they make warranty repairs.

When we were originally shopping for other brands of RV's, we read somewhere that with many SOBs the only dealer on the hook for warranty work is the one that sold the RV, while this is *not* the case for Airstream. Thus far we've had warranty repairs done at two dealers (one was the seller). Both seemed happy to do the work.

Plasma800, we're in a similar position to you in that we have a 40' DP and are considering switching to an Airstream. Unlike you, though, we can't afford anything close to the price you are considering, so we're looking at the Classifieds.

I haven't found driving our 40' MH to be any sort of problem. The ride, in fact, is better than what our toad has (a 2012 Jeep Liberty).

I've been in contact with Foley, waiting to hear back from them on some pricing, but I liked them the best of anyone I talked to. heck ill drive THERE for warranty work and not feel bad about it.

It's official! I showed up at Foley this morning when they opened. I'm sleeping in my Airstream tonight. This broadcast from the dining table.

Sweet! We have the same model, though ours is a 2014. We hope you enjoy yours at least as much as we enjoy ours.
