The wait is FINALLY over!!!!

Well, after 2 1/2 long weeks of waiting, we are now the proud owners of a new 2008 Safari SE 25 FB. We picked it up at Middle Tennessee Airstream on Tuesday Feb. 26. We spent one night in our new Airstream on the way back home to Alabama.......staying at Cloudland Canyon State Park. We woke up the next morning to a dusting of snow, and temperatures in the teens. At least we put the heaters to the test right away!!!! We stayed warm and toasty all night. We absolutely love the floorplan and feel it is perfect for the two of us. It tows great and you don't feel the swaying when the big trucks pass you on the interstate (that was the reason we traded our last travel trailer for a fifth wheel) We can't wait to take it on a real trip. Counting the days...............

Congratulations on your new AS. I think that the 25 foot models are the perfect size for traveling. (not too big, not too small).

I have tent camped at Cloudland Canyon S.P. and I love it. It is beautiful. However, I don't think my knees would let me hike down to the waterfalls anymore.

Congrats. We, too, are fond of our 25 footer for size appropriate to our needs. Not that we'd intended to have to live in it for the past four months, mind you...
