We spent the night at the dealership with our trailer. We did bring some food only to be able to test everything before we left. Fridge, microwave, stove, sink, kitchen faucet, and drain. Not that you should have problems with anything but I'd take advantage of the time there at the dealer. We found a leaking shower door assembly during our overnight stay.

Video tape the entire walkthrough.

Especially the Zip Dee parts.

After the walkthrough, put up and take down the Zip Dee by yourself while the sales staff watches.

Congrats, and good luck. It's a bit intimidating at first, but you'll be using all the features like an old pro in no time! Filming the walk-through is a great idea!

Depending on traffic you are only 20 minutes from the Point Pleasant boardwalk. You could head over there for a fun evening.

And congrats on the trailer!

Congratulations! We just bought our FC 20' FB in April & picked first Friday in June. The whole Colonial Airstream team are terrific. We prepared by reading manual & newbie guide prior to pickup...if we "retained" anything in our excitement or anxiety about towing @ new ownership....at the very least, we were ready with questions particularly for the multiple power supplies & general ops & maintenance. Kevin really spent many hours with us & since we had brake controlled installed & EQ hitch there was plenty of time to get acquainted. We packed a picnic lunch and stopped at a rest area about half way home. Wanting to get home before sunset to stop in for our state inspection & maneuver trailer 1st "backup" was a priority.
Don't forget to take a picture before you head out of the lot.
Homecoming is really memorable!

Awesome and congrats!!! I'm actually stepping up to full time August 1st, but spending 3 or 4 nights a week in mine sure does help. Texas heat is the only thing I'm finding that I forgot about. I spend a lot of time inside!

Remember to check for fit, both height and width when going through toll booths and the like. I almost hit my yellow side light going through a toll booth, because I wanted to get close enough to hand the lady the money.
Mirrors that adjust out a long ways really help!

Made it home!

Hello All - This is Mazoola's wife. Just wanted to let everyone know we made it home without any issues. Good advice from all, so thank you!

We stayed overnight at the dealer and we were so excited we could barely sleep - but a bit of the bubbly did help! We brought a picnic dinner of some Italian delectibles which we thoroughly enjoyed after a 6+ hour drive (should have taken 3.5-4max). Got to love the NY/NJ traffic!

We can't say enough about the awesome Colonial Airstream staff and our buying experience. They are professionals to the max!

Getting the trailer up the driveway and backyard was another story. Let's just say that the unit is now stored at my parents' house. Enough said.

Thanks again everyone for the support and guidance.
