Although we purchased our first Airstream in September we just joined the forum. I know that we will love it, my mom and dad are on their fourth AS. We have been looking at the forum for quite some time (even before we purchased our AS) and found many posts that have been very useful. We have not gone on any long trips yet just weekend trips. We travel with two American Eskimo dogs ages 2 1/2 and 2. Our first long trip will be in August when we take our daughter to New Orleans. She will be starting her freshman year at Tulane. We are staying at the French Quarter RV Park. It looks very nice.

Nice to see more Missouri Airstreamers joining up every week. Welcome to the forums, you will love that trailer. There is a rally coming up next week in Branson if you are interested, and another near Bloomington, IL in June that always has a great amount of people.

Hi Nancy & Dennis. There are a few members, me being one from the metropolitan St. Louis area. I'm specifically in the Fenton area. We do have our 6th annual Moraine View rally that occurs on June 13 through the 15th. If you are interested in attending please let me know. We'd be happy to caravan up to the campgrounds if you would feel more comfortable in following someone.

Do you know the dates of the rally in Bloominton, IL? Is it the Moraine View Rally. If not where is the Moraine View Rally?

Yes it is the Moraine View Rally. June 13-15th. Moraine View State Park is next to LeRoy Il. LeRoy is just south east of Bloomington. Those of us from St. Louis travel up that way via I55.
