Thumbs up sweating in Texas

Hello Y'all

Presently doing the final touches to the inside of my '67 30' Landyacht. It's been an ongoing project for the last nine years.
The most radical changes involve the kitchen area...restructured the refrigerator side by removing the undersized undercounter refer and installing a new full size Dometic.Where the oven lived, I installed a Splendide washer dryer combo unit. The vented model was recommended and it works very well.Nothing like being able to throw in a load of laundry! To replace the function of the oven,I purchased for $30 an electric roaster, oven which is used on the counter.Being a cabinetmaker, remodeler, upholsterer,I decided to redo the old formica countertops and curve all the sharp corners...
In the rear bath the green fiberglass was discolored so went ahead and removed every detachable piece which I lightly sanded and then applied bathtub refinishing coatings.Bought a kit pack from a dealer in Dallas which included one quart of white and one of black.Mixed them together to a grey color. The ceiling I sprayed with truckbedliner using a drywall texture hopper and got a nice bumpy, black flexible surface...
I will have to get serious about posting pictures and advice about the various projects completed on this massive remodel including windowseals, reinforcement welding and rear extension, wheel, hub and brake replacements, waterheater refurbish,ac and plumbing fixture replacements, underside sheating replacements, rear window frosting, upholstery and draperies,etc...
Now is the time of the year to work on my baby as in just weeks the heat will be stifling and repairs have to wait until I STOP SWEATING IN TEXAS....

Wrong time of the year to be sweating though. We're supposed to be bragging about how nice it is this time of year (and of course remain very very silant when July Aug and Sept hit.

Wanna see your work, sounds fantastic!

Just starting here in Bertram.

I agree, pictures please!

It was 83 in Abilene yesterday, so I agree with the sweating...

Pictures of repairs

Thanks to all for your welcome greetings and responses......
As we all know a picture tells a thousand words or as in our case, replaces a thousand words.I'll dig in my archives and see what I have available.

thanks, Verne
