Squishey - New to forum

Hello I'm new guy to the forum. And just purchased a 1987 32' Excella. Love the unit, but needs a little TLC. Since all the gas bottles had to updated would anyone know if there is an adaptor so I can check the amount of gas from control panel?

I have an '89 Excella and the aluminum bottles have gages where a wire connects from the tank gage to the control panel. I have never seen an add on adapter for remote monitoring. I would think if your control panel has this feature, then you would also need the compatible gas cylinders. See these items from Vintage Trailer Supply: http://www.vintagetrailersupply.com/...Code=VTS%2D169 http://www.vintagetrailersupply.com/...Code=VTS%2D203

Squish, My 86 32' probably has the same tank reading system as yours. I still have the original tanks- valves installed. You can do a google search on how to transfer propane from one tank to another. It can be done. While sailing in mexico we did this transfer with a few other folks. And it's no big deal either. IMHO the new valves are a way of dealing with incompentent propane employees. Tim
