South Texas Newbie

Hello all. My name is Jaime and I am new member to this forum. I felt it necessary to join as I have recently purchased a 1974 24' Argosy. I have much to do to it with limited resources but I'm in it for the long term. For now I just want to make it functional so I can take my wife and 2 year old son to a few local areas before we are brave enough to go long distances. I look forward to interacting with you as this new adventure begins.

Welcome!

I think it's a wise choice to start off with a couple of short-range trips, so you know where to find parts and help and such if something DOES go wrong, and in the very worst case it's a short drive home. Our first 2 trips in our '75 Argosy24 were within about 100 miles, and to areas where I knew there were services available. Since we were where it wouldn't have been too inconvenient if something went wrong, nothing went wrong.
