Soulstreamers: a mobile music project to promote vinyl records IN A '66 OVERLANDER

Hey guys!

My name is Heather and I am 1/3 of a mobile music project called the Soulstreamers. We are comprised of vinyl record nerds who are purchasing a '66 Overlander to be transformed into a record store that we can take to record shows all across the nation.

This is our first Airstream and I have an architect friend who is helping me with the build out. Your input and help is greatly appreciated since you guys are the experts!

We are in Tennessee but our trailer is in Owensboro. I have put the down-payment on it and can pick it up in two weeks when I pay it off. I am super excited and terribly nervous.

It is a 1966 Overlander with all the original parts in it. Even if the guys replaced something, he kept he old piece. I am a lucky gal to have found this one on Craigslist.

What an awesome idea and project. ...makes me want to put a turntable in mine now :-)

Let me know if you ever plan to make it down to the Austin Record Convention sometime!

Hi Heather,
Pat & Phyllis from SC. You checked out our 68 Overlander in May down at Hunting Beach State Park. Looks like you did what you said you were going to do. Good luck with the project.

Hope to see you on the road some day.
Take care,
Pat

Mitch -

We will DEFINITELY be going to most record conventions and Austin is on our radar. If you are on facebook, "like" us at Soulstreamers | Facebook so you can stay up to date. Also, I plan on selling compact vintage turntables with speakers built in so people can easily add a turntable to their own trailer. I already have four restored that I found at antique and thrift stores.

PAT AND PHYLLIS!
I am so glad you found me here. And more importantly, I am so glad you let me tour your trailer. You were very gracious hosts to the girl creepily snapping pictures outside your trailer! You inspired me and I came home and found exactly what you had!

- Heather
