Soon to be New Airstream Owners
Happy New Year. We celebrated the New Year by ordering a 2006 19' Bambi International CCD. This is our first TT. We have been tent camping for many years while dreaming of owning an Airstream. Plans this summer include weekend trips to New Hampshire to hike in the White Mountains and a week long trip to the Adirondacks. We look forward to becoming active members in the New England Unit of the WBCCI, including attending the Alumination Celebration in August.
We have benefited greatly from the Forum while thinking through the various options for TT, TV, and hitch to decide what best fit our needs, and want to thank forum members for their help. Special thanks to members and Airstream vendors Vern Townsend (53FlyingCloud) and David Tidmore (dtbw) for their generous and knowledgeable advice.
This is fantastic news! We look forward to you joining our unit. It's a great group of folks and I believe you will have lots of fun as members of the WBCCI. Do you need me to send you the link for the New England Unit application?

Great to hear from you. We already have an application but must wait until we get our VIN#. The Aluminations committee was kind enough to let us sign up with a VIN# IOU. Since we should have our Bambi by the beginning of April we plan on attending your rendezvous in Salisbury. Will make our reservations tomorrow.

Welcome
Congratulations on your FIRST Airstream. You'll enjoy it even more as time passes. BTW I was looking at an older thread today, where RoadKingMoe came up with a great list of stuff you'll need in your trailer... I bet if you use search you could find it. Very useful, though he's a fulltimer. In a Bambi, you'll need to edit it somewhat (he has a 34')
