Soon to be a Full Time AS Traveler

My wife and I have purchased a 2018 27FB with twin beds and a 50 amp service. We have also purchased a 2015 Sierra 1500 5.2L 4-door truck as a pull vehicle. We are looking forward to exploring east of the Mississippi River first and then the western side. We are currently anchored in Orange Beach, Alabama on Wolf Bay. Not sure if we will find anything more beautiful but, we are going to try. We also look forward to joining an elite group of fellow Airstream Owners and participating in the AS community. We are Christian travelers and can't wait to see what God has in store for us. We hope to see y'all in our travels.

Welcome from Colorado, on the west side of the Mississippi. Living in Minnesota for nearly 30 years, I know the Mississippi well. I've walked over the headwaters several times. The river flows through downtown Minneapolis.

Congratulations on your new Airstream home. Maybe your current location is your "domicile". We hope to travel the Gulf Coast one of these trips as we have not visited that beautiful area of our great country. There is a lot to see while traveling in your trailer.

Our Airstream is "vintage" 1986. The wife's folks bought it new and traveled all over in their retirement. It was passed down to us in 05. It's 32 years old with tons of travel miles on it and still going strong. Your new Airstream can last 50 years with routine maintenance.

Congratulations on your new AS. My wife and I have pulled our 2005 to each of the four corners and we have a great time.

The only drawback of owning an AS is you can not travel "under the radar". Get used to people commenting on your AS and don't be surprised if strangers ask to look inside.
