Hey Jordan,
I'm from the South, too...Georgia.
I was like you, I wanted to buy a confortable RV.
I was looking at new box RV's and went to several RV shows and different dealership all around metro Atlanta, but they seemed so...cheap...I was not all that interested.
I later looked at a Vintage Airstream and something clicked. I started seriously researching Vintage Airstreams and found that this site had the best information and the most friendly people. It was the best resource for Vintage Airstream information I have found on the Internet.
As luck would have it, I found and purchased a
1968 Airstream 24' Tradewind from the father of a co-worker about a month and a half ago at a grest price.
I have since been adding my personal touches to the Airstream and have taken it out for trips twice, for nice long weekends.
Your 25' Airstream is to small? I have double hanging closet space and drawer storage I have not even used yet. But I am an old backpacker, my airstream is like a 5 star resort compared to backcountry hiking. HA
Good luck to you and your search for the perfect TT...and welcome to the best Vintage Airstream information site on the Internet. There are hundreds of people here that will help with any question you have about your airstream.
