So much to learn about Airstreams !

I have made up my mind that I am going to become a full timer in the next year. I have chosen Airstream because the quality is simply the best, thats all I know and I am now doing as much research as possible to figure out which model will best suit my needs.

If it's Airstream knowledge you want, you've found the right place. I've been helped so much, and hopefully have been able to add my 2 cents on occasion.

The search function in the blue bar above is a handy tool, but I'll warn you - sometimes the amount of info can be overwhelming.

Welcome to the Forums. This is the place to get the information that you will need. This first question you need to answer about full-timing is whether you plan to pretty much stay put or move around a lot. This might have a bearing on what model Airstream will suit you best.

Thanks for the welcome ! I am so excited. The plan is for my Airstream to stay put for the most part. I will be living by my self. A long story, but I will be travelling with it some back and forth to Florida to finish my education for a second career in the next 3-4 years. It wont move much until then. Any direction anyone can give me, I would be most grateful.

We have woned four Airsreams in the last two years. Started out with a 16' Bambi and thought we would spend a few weekends a year in it, then went to a 22' CCD, loved it and spent more time in it, then to a 28' CCD, loved it and spent more time in it, now have a 34' Classic and plan to spend the better part of a year in it. All that said, I can say that the comfort level is so much higher in a Classic than a CCD. Also, the fit and finish is far better. We found it hard to spend a lot of time in a CCD because of the materials used in sofas and the bed. You are wise to decide on an Airstream, welcome and stay tuned in to the forums - lots of good folks here with a lot of great knowledge.
