Angry Site is too difficult to use

I tried to post photos here last night. First, one photo posted 3 times and I could not find any way to delete them. Now there is no browse to upload page coming up at all. The only thing I can do is look at photos. However, when I advance to the next photo, the whole frame ends up off the screen. No time for this.

Hi, Jane,
As a newcomer to AirForums myself, I've also noticed a few idiosyncrasies, but so far I've been enjoying the wrestling match. Tomorrow, I'm gonna tow our NTU 27' Safari back home to Durango, and I'm hoping to commence the journaling of our discoveries -- including photos, if I can figger-out how to upload from my phone ... the problem is, it's SMART!
From reading your earlier submittals, it sounds as though you have an idyllic spot for your Excella, and we'd love to see a photo, if you can riddle it out. Don't let that big ol' cottonwood drop a branch on ya!

Best,

wry

They don't let you delete photos, and there's a storage space cap. Find a program to shrink your photos prior to upload, say to less than 100k. This way your allotted storage will last longer.

Better yet, store your photos on a third party site like Photobucket and then copy and paste the image link in your posts here. No need to take up storage space here.

We generally won't delete photos when a person has reached their storage capacity because they must be individually removed (extraordinarily time consuming for the volunteer staff). There's just not enough time to remove enough to matter to even one member's ability to post any amount of new pics. But anyone can contact a moderator and explain any request to remove a photo. Individual requests can be considered.

janeinthemtns, you can remove any photo(s) you wish from your gallery. Click on any picture in your gallery. Just below that picture is a block that allows you to view a slideshow of all your images. At the upper right of an image you don't want, click "Image Tools" and select "Edit Image" from the menu that drops down. An option to delete is the first item at the top of the subsequent page.

Please post back here if you have any questions.

Hi from AZ. . . Awry is right, this site has some idiosyncrasies, but I promise you it's worth it. There is NO other place to learn about your Airstream like this, imo. Just learn the things you need & use this site like most of us do....allthetime ! And remember, opinions are like noses, everyone has them, so check several answers . I have learned SO much here. And formed some cyber friendships ! I love it....regards,Craig..........p.s. enjoyed your pics

There is a way to delete, or post another instead. It comes later. It is confusing. Even more confusing from iPad or iPhone. I have decided it is easier to use the regular website than the app for iPad/iPhone, even when using the iPad/iPhone. All forums use the same architecture, it seems (TundraTalk.net, V-Twin forums). After you have once learned how to use it everything is easier. When ya know ya know. It's like skating or riding a bike. On top of all that, it seems I can only upload one picture at a time from the iPhone. The iPad won't upload pictures at all. I have to do it from my iMac at home or my PC at work.

Thanks for those posts. Hahaha. A little fit of frustration between the web site and not knowing how to work a darn thing in the Airstream. At least I have a ranching background so I was able to get the chainsaw out, trim up the trees over the gate into the yard and back it in there around the tree and missed the gate post, too. Hauling the Airstream up here from ABQ was so easy even going through Espanola at beer oclock on opening day of fiestas was awesome easy. Nothing like hauling a 10 ton square load of hay.
