Rivets???

I noticed that I have been promoted to "2 rivet" status.. Just what the heck is that? In order to get more rivets, do I need to sacrifice goats, chickens, or perhaps my first born?

Still working on my "new" 74 overlander/international.. not sure what the terminology means. There is nothing seriously wrong with it.. The furnace needs to come ouot and get cleaned and the fridge doesnt want to cool but that could be because the trailer is not level..

Lee.

The more rivets, the more posts you have made.

I don't recall the breakdown of the numbers, other than 5 rivets is the maximum.

If you throw a few bucks in the pot, they'll even gold plate your rivets.

Would the gold clash with the rest of the rig? Notice that your rivitmaserness is not gold plated. I think I'll save the bux for Irish ambrosia. Just cracked a bottle from Tilamore which has a nice nose.

500 posts gets you 5 rivets and "rivet master" status. One 476 to go Lee. What it really means is that you have too much time on your hands and are addicted to the Forum. Beer has not helped, though perhaps I need to sacrifice a goat or some broccoli.

Right you are.. Just a bit south of there but I think I can get the cheeze at the local store.. You settled the question of "whats for lunch". Many thanks..

You have chosen to display a custom user title "Alumiholic". This replaces the rivets. If you want you rivets back, change this option in your user CP.

I wonder if there is a market for rivets. Since I have 2 I guess I could aford to sell or trade one of em.. If I came up with the cash and invested it in the gold palting instead in Irish Whiskey perhaps I would have a hedge on inflation..... to heck with it .. need the Irish more..

I can sell you 1,000. Or maybe trade them for Citibank stock and I'm sure you'll get the better deal.
