Cool Returning Airstreamer from 1974-86

Hidee Folks,
Yup, we did own a 25' Airstream from 74 to 86. We were in our 30's and had a couple of girls. We toured the country in patches of vacation. In Dec, 2006, we'll retire!
We're looking for a 30-34' 1999 to 2001 Limited model trailer. We do have the problem that we can't drop everything and rush out to see it. We live in middle TN so if it's in the neighborhood we could make a quick visit.
We just bought a 06 Dodge Ram 3/4 ton diesel so pulling power is no a problem. We hope to find a trailer before Christmas.
In 08 we plan on going full time Airstream and sell our house. In the meantime we'll take 1-3 mo short trips especially in the Spring and Fall. If you have any helpful hints on places to visit/stay for a while, they are more than welcome.
We've toured the country twice so far so there's not too many places in general that we haven't been. On the other hand most of those visits were quick and didn't include smelling the roses. Now we're looking for the roses.

Welcome to the forums!

Welcome to the forums Hank. I am sure you will find the coach of your dreams! If you havent found it yet, there is a thread called so you want to buy an airstream three states away. It has tons of folks who are willing to eyeball a coach for you and provide some idea if it is worth further investigation. Good luck with your search.
