Proud new owner of some kind of aluminum trailer!

Hi all,

After many years of adventuing and sleeping in tents, we've added two small children to the mix, and have decided its time to step up and get a trailer.

Last weekend, we purchased the trailer pictured below, but don't know what it is. The only identifying mark on it located so far is a manufacuring date on the propane tank of 1957, which may well be when the trailer was manufactured.

The skin is aluminum, and the framing is a hybrid of wood and aluminum.

I'll take more photos in the daylight, but I'm interested in theories as to what this might be. It's been suggested that it could be a Wally Lamb Holiday, but I'm an absolute beginner in vintage trailer history, so I've no way to confirm that rumor.

The folks on Tin Can Tourist might know. It is good looking.

And try to get it level. I use a wrench adjustable Masterlock hitch head for sub 5k/ sub 500 TW trailers to dial it up or down. Good for UHaul trailers. But I would customize a hitch head to work with that.

Thanks! I plan to get another hitch to level it out while towing (I tow a lot of trailers for work, and happened to have that drop hitch, which works, but isn't what I'll stick with.) I may end up just buying an adjustable one since I seem to be collecting trailers

I'll get some better photos (really!) The corners on ours don't have a radius like the Spartanette, and the whole thing seems a little less refined that the spartans. This could have been made by a pretty small shop with simple tools (it seems quite well made, just simple.)

I don't know if this is a WB Holiday but it definitely is not a Spartanette. If you suspect that it is a WB Holiday I suggest you try to reach Lanny for further information and possible confirmation. A Holiday would be quite a catch.

Lanny has not been on in a while but at last count I believe he had two WB Holidays. He had one at the 2009 Springstream rally that was a stunner.
