Proud new owner!

I'm not new to the forum...joined a few years back when I was just dreaming of anything Airstream. Imagine my shock when hubby surprised me with a 2007 Safari! Woot!

We have only owned a popup and tent camped for years. This is all very new to us, but we are excited!

We just purchased our first Airstream this past weekend after 10 years with our tent trailer dreaming of an Airstream. Congrats on your new adventure!

Welcome to the Airstream community. You're going to love the comfort your Airstream provides over your tent and pop ups. You are experienced "campers", but with the Airstream you can graduate to "traveler". It is a much more pleasant way to go places in my view. Think about this, your Airstream will be the best "rest stop" bathroom you have ever seen.

They tow easily, and last a long time. Start planning your first night out. Maybe in your driveway, or your local city park?

We are so excited and we will definitely appreciate the luxuries over our tent glamping. I love all forms, but having my very own bathroom will be the absolute best part of this!

We also tent camped for decades and had a pop up tent trailer for a season before getting an Airstream. Someone above said it well....you're going from camping to traveling and it is very comfortable! Enjoy!

Thanks everyone. It was so much fun last night to plan out monthly and sometimes (two in one month) weekends away.

I have to admit that we are trying to figure out what to do with our tent glamping gear (which is extensive to say the least).

I've found a place to store her since I'm petrified of leaving her in the open on our driveway and yeah, I guess she's a girl.
