Proud new Airstream owner

My wife and I just Purchased a 1962 26ft Overlander about 2 weeks ago. I have been reading some of the threads and there seems to be more useful info than I can take in. I did not realize that owning an Airstream was that big of a deal, what a surprise. Our new to us trailer is in what I consider better than average condition take into account the age. All appliances are original and working except heater, which has rusted out burner. There are a couple of dents in the outside but overall the trailer is ready to use.

Congtatulations on the Overlander! and welcome to the forums. I cant wait to see pictures of your new unit. Let us know if you need help figuring out how to attach images. The forums have a pretty big group of vintage owners who know just a silly amount about nearly every airstream ever made so be sure to make use of that knowlege. I look forward to hearing more from you in the near future.

Cool Welcome to a New "Addict"

We expect to hear from you at the Chat Room on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. your time.

By the way, I think Pine Bluff is beautiful. Why would you ever want to leave? Of course, you have many lakes to choose from within a few hours drive.

Look forward to hearing more about your "silver addiction"

Posted some pictures

I uploaded some picture's for you guys to look at. Thanks for the quick response to a new member, ya'll must be a pretty tight bunch. I'm only 38 years old and I know most young folks don't own Airsteams so I feel like I'm getting a head start on my generation. Ha Ha

Picture's are under 1960's airstreams

Hi, Toby,

Indeed welcome to the forums. You will continue to be a PROUD Airstream owner, but you won't be NEW too long, and you'll add some other adjectives and maybe even adverbs to your personal description at times as you go along.

Let's see, I was 33 when I got my first one, but I can't even PRETEND to resemble that decade of life anymore. Too much too much, if you know what I mean.

Lamar
