Picking up new to us 1990 29' excella

Hello everyone, newbies here! We are currently in route to pick up our first new to us airstream! We will post pictures as soon as we hook up.

Cleaning Questions:
As soon as we get home, we plan to spend the weekend cleaning the new airstream. Any suggestions on how/what to clean the interior walls with? Any cleaning suggestions will be much appreciated!

Thanks
Jim and Marti

Soap and hot water. I used DAWN dish soap. That cut's most oil and dirt. Then I used a streamer on the bed and couch, and dinner table sit's. lysol in the bath. liqud gold on the wood. I hope this helps. and new to us is the best I have ever had.

The only thing I have found that will clean the sticky of the vinyl on the aluminum inside is Krud Cutter. I use the Krud Cutter (Walmart) and then wash with Simple Green and then with clear water. The inside vinyl gets sticy from the glue passing through the vinyl. Outside I use either a RV wash and water or Envy waterless detail cleaner.

Interior

First interior pic after night one of cleanup! This is my Marti, she is usually the one posting from my account. Tomorrow we are cleaning the ceiling, walls and floors then setting her up at a local RV park.

And… I am having issues uploading photos. As soon as I figure this out I will make sure to get the interior pics up.

On another note… I hooked up to city water for the first time today. Why is there a steady flow of water exiting a pipe between my axels (drivers side between the wheels?) Theres a shut off valve I am missing, correct?

cleaning

On our 1989-29 footer, after cleaning the sticky off of the vinyl ceilings and walls ( used detergent and ammonia), we have used Future Floor Wax to reseal the vinyl.
The water flowing, as you suspect, is an open drain line. Our valves, two of them ares found just above where that line exits the bottom or the trailer. They are accessed behind the door, streetside, left of the sink. In ours it is below the floor amongst flexible heat lines, water lines and electrical lines. t Two small grey T handle valves. Push down and turn clockwise to close.
