Pac NW GT, 65 -

Hi there,

Happy to join your forum. I reside in North Seattle and this is my first Airstream. I will be pulling it with a Ford F-150. My 1962 Aloha that I have refurbished will be very lonely as she is stored this winter. At least I have a back up if I go too nuts.

My plan is not a frame up.
However I do plan to get all major systems safe and running.
The floor plan is in need of work. I have the 20' that has the box heater between the gaucho and the dinette. It is 18' of space I gain.

The pictures are up on the gallery.
Fortunately I have a large glass production studio that was just offered to me for doing some work down in Hood River, OR.

On the road as soon as all the safety work is done.

Happy to meet you.

Hello from Minnesota. I think you will enjoy getting your 65 Globetrotter on the road again. Be prepared for surprises as you work on one thing only to find several others that need attention. I think you will find these Forums very helpful to you as you develop questions or need parts.

Always pleased to meet a new Airstreamer who is joining the community.

Thanks again! I'm really excited to do something I don't know how to do. What I do know is I also figure stuff out. I can get help. I bet there will be friends and strangers along the way that will come hang out. It's going to be a life changer!

Well yes it is. First Airsteam was a '67 GT.
Did a restoration and was hooked.
