Awesome! Congrats and welcome!

One piece of advice I'd offer as this is your first ever trailer - you may want to see if you can find a local RV Safe Driver course - sometimes commercial truck driver license companies offer them. My wife and I did that the first weekend we had the trailer and spent 2 days pretty much driving in reverse (toughest part) and learning a lot about the rig and how to handle it. Highly recommended!

Enjoy the new baby - the right name will come to you 😀

Safe and happy camping!

Hi Outdoorjojo,

Your decision in trailer, size
And tow vehicle brand and power train is almost identical to our choice straight down the line.

Not to mention initially never owning or towing before our whim purchase setup 2+ years ago.

If you wish to discuss some specifically related questions on vehicle to trailer, please feel free to PM me anytime.

Enjoy your choices. We certainly do !

When you get brave enough to come over on this side of the mountains,we will give you some ideas of where the great camp grounds are over here
We love Priest Lake

Duramax?

Didn't you just have a 5.3 1500?
But Now seeing a Duramax?
Super !

Been thinking of that too but the1500
Is a daily driver so....very torn.
Guess when higher percentage of travel
Is towing, we'll see the light. 🚜
