on our way

Looking forward to our first nights in our new Airstream 22 Sport...brought it home Friday and making plans for shake down cruise this week. November camping should allow us to try everything except for the A/C.

Good Luck with your new unit. If it's cooling off down there you might want to make sure someone burned off the furnace before you try to use it while in the trailer. It sort of smokes and stinks a bit till you get it burned off....
good Luck

burning off the furnace

Temps fell into hi 20's overnight here. the Bambi is plugged into house power while sitting in the driveway. We turned on the onboard furnace and in a few minutes got an LP alarm. Figured it was due to "burning off the new" on the furnace so we raised a roof vent and reset the alarm. After a few minutes all worked well but we are glad we tried it out before leaving home.

That seemed to have worked out! We went through the same thing, but were in a camp grounds on our way across the rockies at about 7500 ft. elevation and the temp went down to -10. Turned on the furnace to stop from freezing and proceeded to basically gas ourselves out till it burned off.....lol
