Arrow Oh'Brian=Intro.

Welcome to North Florida. We are blessed with Rain for the first time in over a year. Aprox. 18 hours of Gentle Soaking Drizzle. I share this because the
threat of wild fires is a constant concern. This is the result of Tropical Storm/
Depression BARRY which is crossing the state as I type.
I bought a Salvage Title 24 Ft. Argosy Motor (LESS) Home last month from
a long term multi-AirStreamer. He removed the engine and Trans to replace
those in a 31 foot AirStream Motor Home. I have been looking for an Air Stream to use as a Shelter from the Storms. This unit was in pretty good shape but for the Right Front Wheel, which had been damaged in a wreck.
I've been removing things that will no longer be necessary, GAS TANK, aprox. 50 Gal Capacity, opens up a large space for future storage. I took
the LP Gas Cyl. off, at 30 years, I'm not confident of the security ie:leaks.
It's a 1977 modle, the ARGOSY name was used for several years then the
Air-Stream Name was carried over. I'm looking foreward to asking some
technical questions of Motor Home Owners. Fred from West Va. was very
helpful in locating the Secretarial Services to purchase copies of the Owner
and Shop Manuals.
Thanks Again , Fred. He told me no one has re-done a Motor (LESS) Home
into a 5th. Wheel Towable unit. I believe it is possible and am making
progress toward that goal.
Any Comments from experienced Aluminaunts would be apprciated.

Brian Oh'Brian from O'Brien, FL.

I don't mean to be pessimistic here but I'm not sure I would want to use any type of camper for storm protection!

Welcome to the forums!
