Smile Oh boy!

Good morning everyone, from North Carolina! I've wanted an Airstream my whole life, and now the time is right. (yea!) We had a pop up while our sons were young, and tents of course, but now with my husband's retirement in sight, it's time to travel in style! We're looking for a Bambi 16ft or 19ft. Wish us luck on our quest!

Welcome! We have a 19' Bambi and love it! Way better than tents. Good luck on your search.

Welcome to the forums.

Airstreams are a great way to travel.

Look at a bunch before you buy. There is a lot of good information here. All the tricks and kinks that will help find a good trailer and enjoy it.

I have no idea what your needs or intentions are, and maybe the smaller trailers are ideal for your needs. But, look at some larger ones, too.

Best Regards,

JD

Hey thanks, I'll definitely check into that. I have actually been looking and reading everything I could get my hands on for some time...drooling actually...(; We kind of want to keep it simple...easy tow etc....hence the smaller size. A little bigger, 19, 20 might be best, but in reality it will probably be just my husband and I. One in college and one in high school...but you never know. Thanks for letting me know about the get together! That will certainly help.

Since we're new to this, I'm not sure about protocol..Are we able to come and just check it and talk to folks about their Airstreams and look around? It sounds like you guys have a really good time!
