Now an AS owner

Yesterday we completed purchase of our first Airstream! We bought a new 25' Flying Cloud. I can't believe it. Won't be picking it up until the weather breaks, but still.....the adventure begins. The wife and I are both retired and looking forward to taking a break from Vermont winters and looking in to SE Arizona winters beginning next fall. In the meantime- this summer- we have travel plans for Watkins Glenn and Alexandria Bay areas of NY and Acadia National Park in Maine. I want to say how happy we are to officially be part of your group now and thanks again for all the information I got from the site that has helped with the purchase.

Congrats!! We are in exactly the same boat (except the retirement part); we bought a new 25A FC, but it's in NJ so we need to wait until the weather gets nicer before we make the long drive to get it. I'm so impatient! We live in Phoenix so perhaps we'll meet in AZ one day.

Congrats!!! It's a great feeling, isn't it!

We did the paperwork on ours in Dec 2012 and had to wait til April 2013 to hit the road! The waiting and anticipation were nearly unbearable but well worth it!

I just stopped up to visit the Tin Goat in storage - it's still as amazing as day 1. :-)

Hey DianePhx - congrats! It's funny, I live in CT and thought I should shop at the dealer closest to me. You're going clear across the country for yours and to be honest - in retrospect - I wish I had done the same! It makes sense to go to the best dealer (I'm assuming Colonial?) and take a nice long trip back :-)
