Nice to be here

I am new here. I have had a Bambi for a couple of years and joined this site to get the ins and outs of Airstream ownership.

Welcome. It's always good to see another Bambi owner. There's a vast amount of knowledge here, and it isn't limited to Airstreams.

Another Welcome!

Welcome (belatedly) to Forum, and I hope you can join one of the NorCal Rallies, as Big Dee mentioned... We live in Sunnyvale, just down the El Camino, and have found local WBCCI unit not very internet enabled. Informal NorCal Rallies have been terrific, and plan is to try and do a couple extra's in 2006. You'll also get great advice on service shops, do-it-yourself repairs, and sources for parts and "stuff"...

Hi Chris, I just purchased a 1966 17' Caravel #1508 and I live in Seattle, WA. I was hoping we can exchange emails as we go through our restore project. I named my baby Al Eagle. Al short for Aluminum. Eagle because there's an eagle on the outside of the Airstream plus my son likes eagles. I hope to hear from you and can't wait to get this project started. I'll be at the RV show at QWest Field in Feb. K

Welcome!

Hi Kitchenclose - Welcome and hope you have fun with your restoration. We're close by, too, and are currently working on a 1960 Caravel. Hope to meet you down the road one day!
