Newby from NY with a Wally Byam Holiday

Hello,
I am new to this forum but not to vintage trailering. Have many Shastas, bought, used and then sold. Also Ace, Mallard, Pathfinder, Fan, Frolic, etc. I like pre 1973 canned hams.

My most recent and best find is a Wally Byam Holiday #1117. Will need a total redo, but the skin is great as well as the badging. Missing a toilet and a Panel-Ray heater.

I am retired from full time teaching Industrial Arts. Working very part time teaching a middle school program in a local district and an occasional Driver's education class.

Also love woodworking, traveling and my family not necessarily in that order.

Married 43 years this month, three grown children and seven grandkids. Son and family next door, a daughter and family in Dryden, NY and another in Oklahoma.

Would love to converse with any other Holiday owners out there. How many are actually left?
