Wink Newbies Here!

Hi all,
First time posting, first time owners of RV and Airstream.

Last summer we started looking for a travel trailer. I wasn't particular as long as it was nice. My hubby wanted Airstream.....built to last......hold their value......you know the things guys are intersted in. We searched and searched, everytime I found one.....many miles away.......we were always a day late. Then I decided if these are so hard to get there must be something to it. We finally found one that wasn't sold in HorseCave Kentucky. Almost a 4 hour trip to check it out....when I saw it....I was in love. It is so classy.

So we decided to invest in a 1991 Airstream Excella. It is in pretty good shape, needed a new AC (of course it went out right after we bought it), which we have now replaced, and needs a few minor things. And some things I just want to add.

We took it to a campground near the TENNESSEE RIVER 2 weeks ago and tried it out last weekend. We are really liking this "home away from home".

We plan to stay set-up at this campground most of the year unless we travel. We will be able to go for the weekends, if all goes to plan.

I have some questions, but will try to post in the appropriate forums.

Good to see such a great interest in Airstreams.

Glad to be here.

Welcome!

Congratulations and welcome. Enjoy this forum, the folks here helped me select mine and I got oodles of wunnerfullllll advice about tow vehicles, camping necessities versus useless and expensive stuff... plus lots of humor, nonsense, common sense and lively debate. The folks here are as cool as the Airstreams they own!

Paula Ford.... Like Crazy Lev, I'm out of my mind right now but will be back shortly.... I've got the ants in pants syndrome about picking up a brand new
Airstream!
