Newbies from Wisconsin

My husband and I have owned our 1975 31' Airstream since 1994 but have not had it on the road since 1997. It was stored at our property in Missouri and we finally decided to bring it back to Wisconsin after installing 4 new tires and getting the lighting to work. Now we have started on a restoration project since it is basically a very fine unit. We are looking forward to using the forum for answers to some of our questions.

Welcome aboard indeed. We've got a few Airforum members out there. This is a great site. Wisconsin WBCCI also has a good group with upcoming camping events. Check their website or send me a PM.

Smile On, Wisconsin!

I want to second Rich--the Wisconsin Unit is a great one, with a strong vintage presence. Check out our web site at

WBCCI Wisconsin - Region 7, Unit 116

The Wisconsin Unit spring rally is coming up May 16 - 18. It will be only about 60 miles up the road from you in Jefferson, WI. This will be a "buddy rally", so you are welcome to attend even if you're not a WBCCI member. See details in the latest Badger Bulletin, on the web site. If you want to attend as a non-member, PM me and I will sponsor you.

If your Airstream isn't ready to take on the road yet, you still might want to come up Saturday and meet the folks. The Open House will be 3 - 5 PM so you can tour everybody's trailers.

If you can come to the rally, a guarantee and a prediction:

I guarantee you'll be welcome.
And I predict you'll join the Wisconsin Unit!

See you up the road,
Nuvi

Having lived my entire life less than an hour away... I have to say, I have never heard of Trevor, WI.

Welcome to the forum and to Vintage Airstreaming in Wisconsin.

I second Nuvi's suggestion that you take a ride up to the Jefferson Rally. It will give you a chance to meet a lot of local (and not so local) folks that will be happy to help you along with anything you may come across. Lot's of great folks to meet.

Now you have an evening project near home! We welcome more aluminum into the state. Pretty soon it will be warm enough to actually use the trailer .
