Newbie with old roots

Hello everyone...My parents became airstreamers and club members in the early 60's. I being in my early teens, spent several summers traveling and carvaning. The most memorable was the international rally at the Seattle Worlds Fair 196?. My favorite part was of course the teen queen contest...I being a normal teenage boy thought this was great...and as a teenage boy I also hated this dumb trailer thing my parents were dragging me to.....fast forward to the present......I just turned 60 and retired from fed gov. ...I was a park ranger for the usnps for 30 years....as a park ranger I met many airstream groups and always enjoyed visiting with them...and yes....some times having them move when they were trying to camp in a closed area or something...Anyway..... last year I bought a 1970 caravaner fixer-upper....My first plan was to haul it to mexico and live out my days on some beach...this is still a possibilty...but first I have alot of work and repair etc....which is what lead me to this forum....I have a bunch of ????..and hope to find some answers here....My computer skills are weak but I try to manage.....Good to be onboard.....looking forward to meeting new people ...and learning a bunch.

How I envy you. An AS to work on and retirement to do it in.
