Newbie w/ 2016 AS classic

Galley faucet is leaking. Waiting for Kohler to send me a replacement K-597-VS faucet. Iíd like to r/r faucets myself but a little intimidated by lack of space and/or access under the sink. I think that removing waterless p- trap might help but AS customer service says itís not necessary. Can someone provide tips and insight.
Thx - Vince

Look for a ďbasin wrenchĒ in the plumbing department of your local big box home improvement store. Itís designed to reach up behind sinks and unscrew faucets. Looks like a long metal stick with a toothed spring-loaded hook at the top that can be flipped one way or the other to loosen or tighten a nut. Opposite end has a sliding handle to put force on it. Thatís what you use in hard to reach spots under sinks...

Hi fellow Coloradan: Welcome to Airstream Forums. I'm replacing all the faucets in my 75 Overlander. I'll be using flex hoses for the attachment so I don't have to use the faucet wrench next time. I did take the sink out for the galley faucet, but the new faucet will use flex hoses so the next person won't have to struggle with it. Many new faucets come with flex hoses already attached.

Hi

On some faucets, the replacement comes with the magic wrench (made from plastic) required to pull the old one ....
