Hi, First of all I want to sincerely thank all the members who have contributed such a vast amount of knowledge and I hope that soon I will be able to contribute helpful information as well. My husband & I are going this weekend to pick up our “new to us” 1978 Airstream Argosy28. I am excited to get it but it comes with a cost. I am trading “my kids are grown up momma toy” (mint condition 1997 Firebird) for it. We have been wanting a motor home but not the look like everyone else’s kind. So when we found this Argosy we were thrilled. The guy wants to make a trade and when he saw pictures of my car he was ready to trade. Although it appears to be in really good condition it’s going to be a project because (no offense to anyone on here) but that 70’s green has got to go soon! I will post pictures of before and after as we do the restoration. I am sure I will be full of questions throughout the process and want to say thanks in advance.
I am not new to Rv'ing. My first camping trip was when I was 3 months old. My parents are in their 70's and recently purchased a new 40' diesel so it's in my blood.
