Newbie to Airstream

We finally decided to get 22FB Sport. Bought last Saturday Oct 10th and pick it up last Thursday the 15th and hit the road towards the Smokey Mountain and NC the next day Friday. As a history, We started tent camping, then a 24 FT trailer and to a Class C RV and camp through the out the west cost. Enjoyed, Yosemite, Redwoods the Sequioa,Eastern Sierra and up and down the coast. Now, it's time to check out the SE, NE portion of the states to make up for not camping the last 10 years plus

We met a nice couple on our way out to Gatlinburg,,Bill and Barbara from New Hampshie. unfortunately we didn't get their contact info. They gave a us a tip to nice campground in Kodak (Dumplin Valley Farm and RV park in TN). Also met the owner Misty, very nice host

Welcome to AS and to the forums.

We too are new 22 owners. We have had ours since July. Been out several weekends.

We really like our 22, and hope that you will too. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

Welcome to the"family!" Sounds like you are doing it right. Put your new rig on the road and see the beauty of this great country! Part of the fun of owning an AS is meeting new people that are more than willing to share their knowledge and experiences. Enjoy the ride! 😀

Welcome and congrats. We also recently purchased a 22ft Sport. We have not had our maiden voyage yet but have spent a few hours having a glass of wine and discussing on where we should venture out to first.

Thanks for the warm welcome!!!
We have met a few AS, and some where new to AS as well
I've been wanting to have one and finally pulled the trigger
We used to have 24 ft trailer and a Class C when the kids were younger
Now we are empty nesters, this the perfect size for us to tour the east cost

Ask questions!

Someone on here will have an idea or answer. We were all new once, too.

This is a fountain of cumulative knowledge of things one can do as well as those "oops" moments where one learns they do not want to repeat that activity.

Welcome and have lots of fun creating lifetime memories...
