Thanks Great Pumpkin

I thought the J was for Ohio and the S was for California Just goes to show!
Really struggling with the height though, it doesnt have an a/c unit just the usual vents, there is a pic on here from Perry in France showing an Airstream in a container and I know that others have used containers but the shippers are telling us that it won't fit

Rivet VIN Numbers

I got the attached pdf from Airstream's customer service section. It indicates that a J stands for Jackson Center. There is a wealth of information about VIN numbers here. Welcome to the club! Enjoy your cool new caravan.

Sorry, that is correct: J for Ohio, S for California. My brain was not communicating with my fingers while they were typing

Remove the tires from the wheels, and roll it into the container that way. Check clearances, as always, common sense prevails.

Thank you all for your help!

We seem to have a reasonable quote for a roll on roll off and will probably go with it if only we can get the trailer to the port...

Experience wins out every time
