Newbie in Illinois

I just wanted to shout out to the members of this forum. We bought our first Airstream, a '64 Overlander, this week. We're pretty excited about it. We've gutted the entire thing and see that there's a lot of work ahead, and I hope to get some good ideas from here. Thanks in advance!

'64 is a great year, we have a '64 Tradewind we picked up last spring.

We have a 63 (although they made some big changes in the 64 model...) my husband did a frame off restoration of our trailer. Here is a link to his thread, it has lots of pictures and how-to's you might check it out!

In case you didn't think of it:

If you have gutted the entire inside... post your items in the free classifieds here! Your trash will certainly be someone's treasures! You might be surprised what folks might want ~ whether it works or not! Knobs are valuable! So are fridge parts and cupboards, drawers, etc.
