newbie in Chesapeake Va

Hello all,
Pick up my A/S classic 30' in 2 weeks. Before I do, I need to buy a few accessories, i.e. rv water hose, x chocks, lynx levelers, sewer hose (which one?) etc. I figure the dealer prices are high and thought buying online would save some $$. Do any of you have recommendations for online accessories?
thank you,
Rob

Welcome Rob. I think a lot of folks use Camping World for general supplies and Inland RV for more Airstream specific parts. If you use the search function on this site, you'll likely find lists of valuable supplies to carry and resources for such. I've been lucky with Craigslist for some things - but usually after I just paid top $$$ for the item. Doh.

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us.

We buy most of our RV accessories at Cam,ping World or Wal-Mart. Check out the Sewer solution vs. the slinky for sewer duties. There's a thread on it here on the Forums.

Welcome Rob!!!

Ditto for C-World or Wally Marte'.

The Sewer Solution has a very loyal following and is money well spent in my opinion (though I was hesitant at first).

You might also consider a patio mat, a door mat(s), and a hand held vacuum to the list.

Regards,

Kevin

Welcome Rob!
We also use Wally World, but BEWARE of Campers World! We went to one for the first time...it was like taking a kid to a candy store! Spent way too much, but it was oh so fun!
Enjoy....gotta name yet?

Hi Rob, We're just down the road a bit from you. Best option is Camping World, but if you are buying from a dealer, they might consider throwing in some accessories - ours did. We're leaving tomorrow for an AS weekend event near Charlottesville. We'll be glad to share our experience in joining WBCCI.
