Newbie Here

Hey All~
Recently successful in finding and purchasing our first Airstream, 1969 Caravel 18'. We will be towing with 2009 Toyota Tacoma V-6 with towing package. Excited and anxious to get our hands on her but will have to wait until snow melts in Michigan were she is now and we in Florida. We plan on having the unit gone over and awning replacement at the Airstream facility in Jackson Center, Ohio a short distance from the Michigan pick up.
Any feed back from you folks on this service facility or other newbie helpful tips would be appreciated.
Thank you
Dennis~

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

Hi Dennis. Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us. You'll like Jackson Center. Be sure to take the factory tour while you're there. The Service Center at the Factory is first rate. We have always had our repairs and updates done at the Factory when at all possible.

Brian

The JC facility and staff are excellent! The factory tour is well worth the time, and, with a service appointment, you camp free at the terraport. Enjoy the AS!

Hi Dennis
I had to say hi and let you know I am also a new member. I also am in Florida and have just purchased a '58 Caravanner 22' in Michigan .... and will be towing her back with a
Toyota Tacoma v6. I too ... am waiting for the snow to melt ... I'm thinking mid March for
me. I can not wait to meet my new addition! I wish you the best of luck with yours.
Where in Florida are you? I am in St Pete ... but will be moving to Jupiter around April.

Caravel's are one of the best Airstream trailers ever.

I am originally from Michigan and bought a 95 34' in December and towed it home to Virginia. I recommend you wait for the snow to melt.

Welcome to the Airstream family.

Your Taco V6 is a great TV for your Caravel.
