You've been to the southwestern part of the state, home of miles and miles of… miles and miles.
When I finally return to Oklahoma for some camping, I'm planning to visit eastern Oklahoma, possibly around Lake Carl Blackwell (owned by OSU, my
alma mater), Keystone Lake, or Grand Lake of the Cherokees.
Unfortunately I know next to nothing about northwest Oklahoma, and what little I do know is from 35 years ago, so I can't really give any recommendations.
