Smile Newbie from NC

We are now the proud owners of an Airstream 30ft. Land Yatch. We plan to retire within the next year and do some traveling. That is if we ever find out all the things we need to know, starting with all the jargon and termanology. This is going to be a lot of fun. Hi to everyone from Harold and Linda

Harold and Linda, welcome! Congrats on your new Land Yacht - sounds like you've got some adventure in your future. There's plenty of reading here to help you get ready. Good luck!

Harold & Linda----Lots of experience and knowledge resides here. Lot's of reading to do. The jargon comes pretty quickly. Enjoy the new trailer.

Hi guys and welcome! From a fellow Tarheel!
I live over just east of the Sandhills...when I am home Currently I am spending a large portion of my time working in SC near Charleston. If you need any help just give me an email or PM. I don't get up around Henderson too often but you never know What year is your Airstream?

Welcome to the Forums, Harold and Linda. We're glad to have you with us.

You will soon catch on and learn as we all did. We're not launching space ships here.

It's a lot of fun. Give it a little time.

Welcome to our fellow Tarheels

Harold and Linda,
Welcome to the Airstream Forum. We just bought our baby last year and the forum has been a great place for us to learn.

Welcome to the forums!

First things ~ check all the safety equipment on your trailer... brakes, tires, axels, etc. Then your tow vehicle! Go out for a "shake down" cruise and spend a couple of nights (not too far from home) in your new trailer and make lists of what you need to know, and what you need to remember to pack!

You will have a great time. Try the search function on the top toolbar near the right side... key in words you want to learn about, like sway bar, or refrigerator... you will retrieve a long list of threads (posts) that have information using that term. When you get stuck, ask away!

Post some pictures of your new rig, we love pictures here!
