Newbie from Denton TX

Hello, thought I would introduce myself: my name is Sean and my wife and I just purchased our first Airstream, a 1997 Safari 25' We will be moving into full time starting July 1 after we make a few upgrades. We have been talking about doing this for a few years and recently decided to jump in.

My wife and I used to live in McKinney and traveled to and through Denton several times.


We wish you the best on your full-timing endeavors. That's a big step. Be sure to keep everyone here at Air Forums informed of your travels.


Which upgrades are you considering? It's always fun to show pictures and describe what you're planning (and doing).

Hello from fellow newbies in Dallas! Welcome aboard. We wish we could go full-time in our amazing Airstream, but we're still tethered to a job!

We own our own business, part of which is internet based, so we have a little more flexibility. Still plan on staying in the area for now, just simplifying to live a slower pace and smell the roses more while doing some volunteer work between the work we have to do.

Jon went to grad school at UNT and we lived in an apartment behind Applebee's, so we're quite familiar with Denton. We've only had our AS for a week, but we've fallen in love with it!

Very cool. Denton is a great place, we love it here. Planning on parking at Post Oak Place in Denton to start our adventure, and will see where things develop from there.
