Newbie - bunk model options?

Hey folks, new here and am not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I'm interested in getting some info on what bunk models are/were available?

Right now we have a Jayco quad bunkhouse, but after seeing some Airstreamers on our last trip I have become smitten.

We have two teen boys (14 & 16)that still camp with us, and they like to bring friends, so at least two bunks are needed.
Also, I'm 6'2", so I'm wondering if the trailer's would be roomy enough for me?

We have an F350 V10, so I'm not too worried about towing a big one around (our current unit is 32').

Any info (or Forum re-direct) would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Mike -- Welcome to the forums!

I should probably steer you to the 2005 & 2006 30' Bunkhouse models. These had quite a following and unfortunately were discontinued in the 2nd year of production. It might take some patience to find one. Start your reading at

Hello Mike,

Welcome and we hope you're able to find the information you're looking for. The link in Bob's posts seems to work for me but here's a different one just in case.

The thread should be at the top of the list.

We have also recently joined the site, and my wife and I are going to CA on August 21st to pick up our first AS.

The Airstream official website has a listing of previous years layouts and specs. I found it very useful when trying to decide on the year and model of AS that best fit our family.

The link is: Airstream, Inc :: Travel Trailer Specifications

You are in right place if you want to learn about AS. This site has a wealth of information. Tap into it. It can be overwhelming at first; however, members have helped me tremendously.

Hope this helps.
