Just purchased our first travel trailer ever and already in love with the old 73 argosy that will need some tlc. hopefully by the summer time it will make it up to alaska for its first road trip!!! Just wanted to say hi to everyone
Got to Banff, Alberta last year on the honeymoon not quite enough time to make it to alaska. The tent gets a little cold in 30 degree weather so I had to make the wife happy and break down to purchase a trailer, I told her it was a airstream or nothing so here we are. Now we get to plan and put so elbow grease into it and make the awesome trip.
Hi, that's really great, and you sound so ambitious; Florida to Alaska for a first trip. And speaking of grease make sure your axle bearings have plenty of grease before you go on that trip.

Basecmp,
You have a nice find, you can always ask questions here anytime it's needed. Try to take a few weekends and try it out before taking a long jorney, you want to make sure the plumbing, electrial and heating system are good order.
I know youl have alot of great times ahead of you. Check into the Vintage Airstream Club too,
JB
thanks guys! I am sure i will ask plenty of questions and I will keep so updated photos to show some work and hopefully some beautiful pics out the front window!!
